Recovery in S-Anon
S-Anon is a fellowship of people who share their experience strength and hope with each other so that they may solve their common problems in dealing with the sexaholism of a friend or loved one, and help others to recover. The only requirement for membership is that there be a problem of sexaholism in a relative or friend. There are no dues or fees; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.
S-Anon recognises that the rising problem of sexaholism not only affects the addict but family and friends. Without spiritual help living with, or having lived with a sexaholic is too much for most of us. S-Anon offers a spiritual programme of recovery based on the twelve steps of AA and Al-Anon.
We are a growing fellowship which originated in the USA and now well established across the UK and Ireland. We offer a number of on-line Zoom meetings, as well as in-person meetings in some limited locations. Meetings are chaired and led by volunteers and usually last one hour. Individuals share about their problems and how they have solved them using the programme tools and shared experience of others.
